let's see, since i last posted... i got hooked on american idol (all because of david cook arrggh!), seriously voted for adam lambert (to the point that i totally cried when he didn't win), got addicted to nail polish and reality tv shows, fandom hopped a few times, and lurked stealthily :D

Turkey v Czech Republic (3-2)
wahh, Czech Republic was dominating the first half and was winning 2-0 like at 70' and then Turkey comes back and scores 3 in the last 20 minutes! The last two goals were in like the last 3 minutes of regular time. Turkey's GK gets redcarded for pushing someone down in 90+2' but it didn't matter cause the games ends a few minutes later.
WOW, what a game. I feel really bad for Cech because he dropped a really easy ball. :-\

OK, havent updated in a while, but basically we won the Premier League and the Champions League!

CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL - united v chelsea
THE most exciting, frightening, amazing, crazy match ever! There was a brawl, a red card, some blood, tears, overtime, and it all ended in penalty kicks. We went to the pub 2 hours early, and there were already tons of people there. We snagged one of the last chair and table seats and even then, it was at a harsh angle from the screen.
Ronaldo's lovely header was spectacular, as always. Tevez was very aggravating because he got so many chances but couldn't deliver. (Whatever, it was all forgiven when he made that penalty.) POOR SCHOLES accidentally hit a Chelsea player, but HE's the one that got a gash on his face and a bloody nose. We had quite a few shots on goal, and Chelsea had 2 ridiculously close ones that bounced off the goalpost. We got into 30 minutes of overtime, still tied, so had to freaking go to PKs which is more based on luck, but it seems luck was in our favor today! Vidic got slapped by Drogba, who got sent off in the last few minutes of overtime. We got all our penalties EXCEPT FOR RONALDO! Poor guy, he thought we lost then and so did I. BUT THANK GOD FOR JOHN TERRY FUCKING UP. I mean, yeah, I feel way bad for him, but in the end, I think we deserved to win. We played better, we had more attacks and it seemed ball possession was more in our favor. Cheeky VDS "taunts" Anelka and makes that LOVELY save, making us the CHAMPIONS OF THE WORLD!
I need to get a new Man Utd icon. Actually going by what my obsessions are like at this point, I should have like 4 United icons and 2 Doctor Who. Though, now that the season's over, I wouldn't have much of a chance to use my ManUtd icons.

Rooney FINALLY gets to score! not 1 but 2. should have been a hat trick, but maybe next week when we crush 'boro. Ronaldo - what can I say? That boy's got style. He should definitely smile all the time; it lights up his whole face and makes him look his age. This game is exactly how we should be playing ALL THE TIME. Seriously, it looked like everyone was having fun out there, despite the absolutely HORRID weather. I can't believe they can play when it's soo cold and raining hard.
Now I'm scared about the injuries. Ferdinand, Evra, Giggs, Carrick, and VDS might be out for the Tuesday game. Though Totti might be out for Roma, as well. Holy crap, we have to *crush* Roma. I think they're due for another spanking.
Too bad Bolton didn't beat Arsenal. Bolton were damn lucky to have scored those first 2 in the first half (lucky that Arsenal kind of sucked it up for most of the game); they should have gotten 2 more, but Bolton just isn't that good of a team. Seriously, half the time they seem like they got the ball on complete accident. And they are not graceful players - they sort of just fumble around the field. They still have a few games left to try to save themselves though..
Derby ended up drawing with Fulham. I sort of feel bad for them, but damn are they shitty. They should spend the next season seriously training up in the "coca cola league" and try again in 09/10, assuming they get promoted to the premier league again.
Fulham could still save themselves but if they can't win against Derby.. O_o
anyway, TUESDAY - MUST. WIN. =-o

Lol, apparently I have some more celebration to do. I really liked Scholes's performance today! Neat passing, good form, team player for sure! Carrick was great as well! I really wanted Rooney to get a goal, but it wasn't to be in this match.. Hopefully, he'll get his time to shine before the end of the season! We still have the Arsenal game on the 13th and the Chelsea game on the 26th. Go Rooney, I have total faith in you! What would REALLY make my day, though, would be if VDS made a goal!

YES!!! We beat Liverpool 3-0!! Good job, Brown, Ronaldo, and Nani! (Brown - srsly, you want to LEAVE this club?)
Mascherano is an IDIOT! Booked once, and still tried to argue with the ref. Sent off, and STILL tried to argue with the ref! Dumbass! I would not be surprised if he doesn't get to play for the rest of the season. I think Liverpool could be a really strong team, and it makes me sad to see them becoming the easiest of the 'Big 4' teams to beat.. seriously, Stevie G is awesome (and cute) and they have Torres. Next year, I'd like to see them be a strong contender for the Cup.
Next, Chelsea beat Arsenal 2-1, meaning Chelsea is now 2nd on the table, 5 points behind us, and Arsenal is 3rd, 6 points behind us. :-)
Only 7 games left in the season! Let's keep our lead, boys! (COME ON, UNITED! <3 <3)

So apparently there is going to be an LJ boycott this Friday. Personally, I think it will do as much good as a one-day gas boycott (which is none whatsoever). Not to mention I doubt enough people will participate that there will even be much of an impact, seeing how it's Easter weekend and a lot people aren't going post anyway.
It sucks that LJ is turning into other blogging sites, but it was kind of inevitable. And most people just roll with the changes. Unless we see a mass migration, nothing is going to change. Even now, I'm contributing to LJ by writing this post..

The manband pic that has been floating around my flist is hilarious and also annoyingly hot. They actually look like they could be some kind of legitimate rock band. I'm sure I'll end up watching this show. I sooo hope Chris gets to sing. I still love the stuff he did with Nigels 11 (whatever happened to that anyway?)

ahh, podfic...I listened to a couple from sga and a couple from spn. I have to say: it is creepy as fuck when someone that sounds like your 1st grade schoolteacher narrates porn or just saying the word 'cock'. (SHUDDER) I don't know, I tried to listen to one on the way to class and while crossing the street I realized it was NC-17. My face immediately became red, and I couldn't stop my jaw from dropping. !O_O!

Dude, K-Fed is so fun to make fun of.. This is youtube GOLD - even funnier if you watch Lazytown. My favorite part has to be his facial expressions, which basically say 'this is GOOD SHIT, bitch!'
